Tall ship races and regattas

Biography

Ingrid was built in Denmark in 1932 by Frederikssund Skibsværft A/S Shipyard. First 60 years she worked as a fishing vessel. After that she needed total renovation which was done by Simrishamn Varv Ab in Sweden 1995-2002.

Ingrid got one taller mast instead of two shorter ones for better sailing properties. The hull was totally renovated, all worn oak planks changed, new deck and interiors built. Now she has 6 fixed bunks and two more at sofa.

Ingrid’s homeport is nowadays in Helsinki (Finland), where she is available for charter cruises with crew. Commonly we make 3-4 hour sailing cruises for private groups or public. During summer we usually have 1-2 weeks sail training trip.

The atmosphere on Ingrid is very personal and familiar. You’ll learn about old sailing ship traditions, seamanship and be part of the crew.

To the day trips we can take max. 12 persons and overnight trips max. 6 persons. Our sailing season is from the beginning of May till the end of October.
